Celebrating our Generation JOG winners so far!

1st September 2025

What a fantastic season it has been for JOG Yacht Racing’s Generation JOG programme, proudly supported by Henri-Lloyd. We’re delighted to congratulate our seven talented winners so far this season—each receiving a £600 Henri-Lloyd voucher to support their sailing journey.

Every race has highlighted the passion, skill, and dedication of our young sailors, and with four races still to go, there’s plenty of opportunity for more to join the winners’ circle. The competition is far from over, and we can’t wait to see who will take home the next prize!

Here’s what some of our winners had to say:

Dominic Williams:

“Winning the Gen JOG prize was really exciting. The support from JOG and Henri-Lloyd is amazing and makes a huge difference to those of us starting our sailing careers without the disposable income for kit. It allows me to enjoy my sailing even more—thank you to Henri-Lloyd and JOG!”

Chris Haslam:

“After a few seasons racing with JOG and often just missing out, winning the Gen JOG prize was an incredible moment. The JOG community is incredibly welcoming, and thanks to their crew portal, it’s one of the easiest fleets to get involved with. This voucher means I can invest in proper offshore kit to make future races even better. I’m hugely grateful to Henri-Lloyd and the other Gen JOG sponsors for making this possible.”

Chris Whitaker:

“The collaboration between Henri-Lloyd and JOG has been pivotal in supporting young sailors. Winning for the JOG Alderney race will help me get top-quality kit and continue progressing. I hope this initiative supports many more Generation JOG sailors in the future.”

A huge thank you to Henri-Lloyd for their continued support in nurturing the next generation of offshore racers. Here’s to a thrilling conclusion to the season!
